At Palmer Brickworks we are committed to teaching skills in young people, helping the future generations of bricklayers. We currently employ apprentices who are supported through their training, by providing on the job experience with professional trained bricklayers.

The scheme is a 5 day week, 4 days are on site, the fifth day will be in college where the apprentices are taught the theory side of bricklaying alongside practical skills. Apprenticeship rates of pay apply.

After completion of the apprenticeship programme, the majority of our apprentices continue their careers with Palmer Brickworks, we are fortunate to have highly skilled bricklayers on board.

Palmer Brickworks apprentices can achieve NVQ Level 2 bricklaying.
